Psychotherapist

Hi there! My name is Aisha (She/her/hers). I believe we are all the experts of our individual lives, but there are times when all of us could benefit from help and support, especially when life gets tough. Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, or other challenges, it can be difficult to take care of ourselves during these tough times. As a therapist, I use an eclectic approach to meet your individual needs and goals. I typically use a mixture of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral, and person-centered therapies. I graduated from the University of Denver with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado. I have worked in the mental health field for over 6 years in a variety of settings including community crisis, corrections, and outpatient. I have worked mostly with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, gender dysphoria, anger, and substance abuse. I am very passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ persons and those experiencing gender dysphoria. I've worked as a therapist for a local non-profit providing services for transgender and gender expansive persons. I understand that reaching out for help can be a daunting step, but I am here to support you through your journey. Together, we can work towards your goals and help you find the strength and resilience within yourself. If you're ready to take the next step, I would be honored to work with you.
