“I refuse to be reduced by what happened to me.” Alessandra Vera graduated from John’s Hopkins University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She was inspired to become a mental health counselor to offer care grounded in trauma-informed principles and a nervous system-centered approach.
