Hello and welcome! I'm Alexa, and I'm so glad you're here. Taking the first steps to start therapy can be scary, so be proud you’re here. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can feel safe enough to show up as their authentic selves and feel supported on their mental health journey. Whether you’re going through transitions, processing past experiences, or wanting to build skills to more effectively navigate through life, I utilize a client-centered approach that prioritizes building a trusting relationship to foster growth with my clients. I have been working in the behavioral health field since 2015, supporting clients with a variety of different needs and am looking forward to continuing this work. I hold a Master’s degree (MA) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor. My specialties include anxiety, depression, family relationships, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, stress, and trauma. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer or require remote sessions. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where your unique experiences and perspectives are valued. My goal is to help you navigate life's challenges and transitions, providing you with the tools and support you need to thrive.
