“I have not had such great experiences in the past but with Alexa Pace I was able to open up to her freely. Alexa always made me feel comfortable and like I was talking to a friend that cared and even remembered details about me. Alexa would always be there on time on the day we assigned and immediately engaged. I can not describe how many things I have been able to work through because of her. I feel like a different more positive person. Alexa makes the process feel so easy, something to look forward to each week. It never felt like a chore and the minutes would fly by. If I could rate her 100 stars I would. Thank you. ”

I aim to create a comfortable and safe environment for you to share your story, heal, and ultimately grow into the best version of yourself. Given the uniqueness of every individual, I tailor my approach to what fits you best. With that said, my primary focus is on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. My previous experience involves working with young adults and children with a history of trauma and/or diagnoses of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Alexa is an amazing therapist! She always created a space where I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings without judgment. With Alexa's help, I was able to improve my coping skills, mental health, and overall quality of life.
My personal experience with Alexa she has been incredible. She is unbelievably patient and present, no matter how long it takes me to explain my feelings on a matter. She does a fantastic job narrowing down what I spoke about to a single thing that can then be worked through (and it always is). She always knows exactly what questions she needs to ask me, for me to make the right self discoveries and is kind when the discovery is hard to digest. She also has given me so many important things/techniques to try out to help me minimize my anxieties and really make breakthroughs within myself. I have not felt this confident and have not loved myself more than I do now. I know I did the work (can hear her saying that "you did the work") but I have nothing but gratitude towards her for helping me make sense of my massive black hole in my brain and heart. I'm happy with the decision I made to come to her. To Alexa: Thank you for being the best guide through what felt like eternal darkness.
Amazing, she made me feel comfortable and she listened which is hard to find. Looking forward to starting my journey with her.
