Getting to know Alexandra Rothschild

Hello, I'm Alexandra. I work with you on processing traumas that can block the feeling of safety, contentment, and happiness inside. I am trained in EMDR (an evidence-based trauma therapy tool) that is used to process and heal traumas so that the system can rest and no longer have to fight to protect against the pain and fear. I am also a Licensed Addiction Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with people to find the roots of their addictions and other ways to cope, often discovering that addiction stems from unhealed traumas. I work with adults and also really enjoy working with couples and teens. I am here to help support you through this process of healing by creating a safe, warm relationship so you feel comfortable in therapy and safe enough to heal. I use a combination of a holistic/mindfulness approach, encompassing the mind, body, and spirit, along with an evidence-based scientific approach to healing in order to get the best results possible.
