Hello and congratulations on taking this leap towards change. The first step can sometimes be the hardest, and it's important to recognize your accomplishments, however small they may seem. Our lives are filled with challenges some of which can be really hard to navigate alone. Sometimes, we can control our outcomes and yet other times our only choice is in choosing our response or reaction. My role is to support you in your journey and provide you with tools to manage challenges and to help create a more empowered way of living. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2016 from Colorado State University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My focus is working with adults struggling with anxiety, life stressors, low self-esteem, and/or mild depression. I also have experience working in a hospital setting, helping families navigate complex medical and social stressors. In our work together, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. These approaches help bring more awareness to maladaptive coping and work with you to restructure these patterns. My approach is one of facilitating self-empowerment, assisting you in recognizing the full potential of your own abilities, and strengthening self-awareness and self-compassion. Whether you're dealing with a significant life change, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or just trying to manage life stressors, I'm here to help. Our sessions will be a space where you can feel heard and supported, and together, we'll work towards your goals. I look forward to partnering with you. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to support you on your journey.
