Psychotherapist
CO
Hello, I'm Alison, and I'm here to support you through life's challenges. With an MA and as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I've had the privilege of working with adolescents, families, and adults in various settings, including in-home therapy, school-based therapy, crisis intervention, and managing a day treatment program for children. My passion lies in helping tired, overwhelmed moms, sad teens, and frustrated parents navigate their struggles with a focus on perinatal mental health, teen girls, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I believe that families are not perfect, and we all have our unique experiences that shape our decisions and paths in life. My approach to therapy is gentle, warm, and inviting. I strive to create a safe space where you can freely share your thoughts without fear of judgment or unsolicited advice. We all get enough of that from media, culture, family, and friends. In our sessions, you'll have the freedom to explore your feelings and experiences. Together, we'll work on helping you feel like getting out of bed in the morning, looking forward to your day, feeling accomplished, and having a sense of purpose. I want to help you feel in control of your emotions, no matter what life throws at you. It's possible, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. You have strengths and things you are good at, and my goal is to help you find and build on them. Let's work together to uncover your potential and create a life that feels fulfilling and meaningful. If you're ready to take the first step towards a brighter future, I'm here to help. Reach out, and let's start this journey together.
