Allie Kidd, LISW

Allie Kidd, LISW

Psychotherapist
OH
I'm Allie, an EMDR Certified therapist and mom of a toddler. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. Being a parent is hard enough without our own running dialogue and judgments telling us we're doing it wrong or should be doing more somehow. Seemingly innocuous moments with family, your own kids, friends, and spouse can leave you feeling anxious, riddled with self-doubt, anger, and guilt. A lot of my clients were raised to believe that their voice didn't matter, that they have to put on a smile or focus on everyone else's needs first. This leaves them depleted, irritable, and on edge, wondering why parenthood is so hard. Moms who get triggered by their kids' tantrums, who get the urge to yell but hold it in—I see you. Moms who let the yell out and then are riddled with guilt and feel like the worst mother in the world—I see you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
