Having a partner as you make your way through emotional challenges such as depression, anxiety, and significant life changes can make all the difference. In our work you are not alone. In therapy I partner with clients to provide guidance and support in a safe, empowering, and empathetic environment to explore challenges and promote overall wellness. In our work together you can be confident that there is someone committed to listening and being with you through your experiences. As a client-centered therapist trained in a relational psychodynamic approach, I believe our success depends as much on the quality of our collaboration as on specific therapeutic strategies. I employ several long-term clinical models as well as short-term, evidence-based practices to support your process of discovering what is getting in your way, and to help you develop the skills, mindset, and insight you need to move forward. My style is active, authentic, and collaborative as I work with emotional openness to build a personal and reciprocal connection with clients. I am committed to increasing equity through anti-racist practice and combatting oppressive forces by contextualizing problems within life and cultural experiences. I currently specialize in helping teens, college-age students, and adults address challenges that are negatively impacting their wellness so they can work toward achieving their personal and professional goals. I am passionate about helping people with depressive disorders, generalized anxiety, post-traumatic stress, difficult life transitions and stressors, interpersonal conflicts, and low self-esteem. I received my Masters of Social Work from New York University after completing a Master’s Degree from Stanford University and BA from Mills College.
