Allyson attended Temple University for her undergraduate studies, where she focused on Psychology and Criminal Justice. She then earned two Master's degrees from the City University of New York, John Jay College of Criminal Justice: one in Forensic Psychology and another in Mental Health Counseling. She began her career in the mental health field about 10 years ago and enjoys helping others. Allyson started by working with children ages 7-16, providing in-home Behavioral Modification Therapy. After two years and a desire to expand her skill set, she shifted her client base to teenage and young adult boys who were both mentally ill and in chronic foster care. She provided intensive individual and group therapy, as well as Behavior Modification. While working with these young men for over three years, Allyson also trained staff in Behavioral Modification techniques, boundary adherence, and self-awareness. Additionally, she has supervised staff in areas related to mental illness and substance abuse. Allyson has counseled families and parents facing difficult times, including struggles with mental illness. She continues to utilize her skills while expanding into mental health consulting. Today, Allyson specializes in behavioral modification for children ages 3-16 and counseling for individuals ages 8-17 who are dealing with depression, relationship issues, anxiety, and PTSD.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
