I am a licensed professional counselor, currently running a small Telehealth outpatient case load on Fridays ONLY! I have experience working in a variety of settings which range from acute inpatient mental health, walk in crisis centers and outpatient community mental health programs. I am practiced in supporting individuals who are impacted by their mental health, including concerns of anxiety, depression, PTSD , emotional regulation, trauma, and self-esteem. Healing and change are unique for each individual's needs, and I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to establish their goals. My approach focuses on your own abilities to encourage healing and growth. I see myself as a guide, combining a neutral, person-centered stance while providing the structure needed to help you move towards your goals. I graduated from Adams State University of Colorado with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health. With a wealth of experience in both outpatient and acute/crisis clinical mental health settings, I bring a result-oriented approach to therapy. My background includes working as a walk-in crisis center assessment therapist and spending three years on an Acute Treatment Unit, where I honed my skills in cognitive, trauma-informed, and solution-focused therapies to assist clients with a wide range of needs. Currently, I serve as a general practicing outpatient therapist, primarily working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and marital/relationship concerns. I also work with adolescents and teen mental/behavioral health, helping young individuals navigate the complexities of their emotions and behaviors.
