For over 30 years, I’ve supported individuals and families working through trauma, grief and loss, addiction, and mental health challenges. These decades of experience have taught me two core truths: everyone is capable of change, and no situation is hopeless. My approach is practical, compassionate, and grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy. I focus on helping you find real solutions to what’s getting in the way of feeling better—whether that’s stress, sleep issues, overwhelm, or the weight of daily life. I offer a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel safe being honest and fully yourself. In our work together, I act as a guide and partner. I’ll help you identify opportunities for growth, think through challenges in new ways, and build strategies that support healing and resilience. In our first session, we’ll talk about your goals and begin shaping a plan tailored to what you want for your life. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by stress or past experiences, you don’t have to face it alone. I offer a warm, judgment-free space where you can feel understood and supported. When you're ready, I’m here to help you take the next step toward healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Life has a way of reminding us to expect the unexpected. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, worried about...well, everything, or struggling to regain your footing after a major life change or loss, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. Both my professional background and my personal life experiences allow me to meet you with real understanding, practical tools, and genuine compassion. Over the past 30 years, I’ve worked with individuals and families navigating trauma, grief, loss, addiction, and mental health challenges. What I’ve learned along the way comes down to two core beliefs: Everyone is capable of change. No situation is hopeless. My approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, based on the idea that when we change our thoughts, we can change our feelings. I focus on helping you find real, workable solutions to the challenges you’re facing. I offer a supportive, judgment-free environment—one where you can show up exactly as you are. And because humor is one of my best coping skills, you can expect a little lightness along the way. Therapy can be serious work, but it doesn’t always have to feel heavy. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from UCLA and a Psychology degree from the University of Denver. Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me hiking, paddleboarding, or cheering on my youngest daughter at her high school softball games. With 28 years of marriage and raising three daughters under my belt, life has taught me to be flexible, resilient, and always open to new possibilities—lessons I bring into my work with clients every day. If you’re feeling stuck, stretched thin, or ready for something to change, I’d be honored to help you find your way forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll explore what you’re hoping will feel different in your life and what meaningful change looks like for you. We’ll talk about your goals, your experiences, and any history that can help us shape a plan that truly supports you. Think of this first meeting as the start of a collaborative journey — one where you’re heard, supported, and guided every step of the way. As we continue working together, we’ll keep refining your goals and adjusting the path forward to make sure it fits your needs and moves you toward the life you want. You don’t have to have everything figured out—I’ll help you find clarity, direction, and real steps toward meaningful change.
