Amy Jensen, LPC

Psychotherapist
CO
Hello, I'm Amy. Life can be extremely challenging at times, which may cause us to feel alone and that there is no way things will get better. Therapy is a great way to navigate these difficult times with a fresh perspective and to learn the tools to help you cope effectively. Together we can move through this journey and help you feel more able to trust your abilities going forward. After obtaining a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health in 2016, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). As a therapist, I have worked in outpatient, integrated care, and inpatient treatment. For the past three years, I have been working in an outpatient setting. I primarily work with adolescents and adults to conquer the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and psychosis. My specialty is working with grief and trauma, and I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I utilize this modality to successfully treat trauma. I also utilize CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy to aid in creating an individualized approach to best address your specific concerns. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship and strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. My goal is to empower you to make meaningful changes and to support you in your journey towards healing and growth. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to help.
