What should a new client know about working with you?

I approach therapy with a calm and grounded presence, creating a space where you can feel safe, heard, and accepted as you are. My style is compassionate, but I also believe real healing often comes from gentle challenging of the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that are no longer serving you. I take a curious and non-judgmental approach to work toward clarity, insight, and meaningful change. Therapy with me is both supportive and active. I'll meet you with empathy, while also encouraging growth through reflection, honest conversation, and evidence-based strategies that empower you to move forward. My journey into therapy began as a child with a deep curiosity and fascination with human behavior, the mind, and the resilience observed through many of life's challenges. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals through some of their most vulnerable and transformative moments. Watching people gain insight, heal from pain, and make meaningful changes in their lives has been deeply rewarding. I believe in the power of connection, compassion, and resilience we all carry within us.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We will work together collaboratively to set meaningful, realistic, and attainable treatment goals. These goals will reflect your values, needs, and hope for change. Through a process rooted in developing trust, expressing compassion, and establishing a partnership, we will break those goals into manageable steps. You won't be alone. I'm honored to provide support, guidance, and encouragement in your personal growth and development. Our first session is about providing a calm, comfortable, and supportive space and, most importantly, getting to know you! We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you'd like to work on, and identify any specific goals or concerns you have. I'll ask questions about your background, current challenges, and areas of your life that feel important to you. There's no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to begin building trust and clarity so you feel safe and supported. By the end of the session, we will start to identify some initial goals and direction for our work together.
