Hello, I'm Ana Winter, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor with a passion for helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University, where I graduated in 2019. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including individual therapy, group therapy, and court-mandated therapy, providing me with a broad perspective on the unique challenges my clients face. I specialize in working with adults, adolescents, and children aged 10 and older who are dealing with a range of issues such as trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, PTSD, life transitions, OCD, ADHD, and more. As an LGBTQ+ ally, I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all my clients. My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and curiosity. I believe that tending to the soul and embracing our humanness is essential for healing. I am trained in eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporate various techniques such as dream tending, art therapy, play therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). My practice is also influenced by a Jungian/Depth perspective, which allows me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Whether we meet in person in Arvada, CO, or via telehealth, my goal is to provide individualized care that supports your healing journey.
