What should a new client know about working with you?

As a former NCAA Division II collegiate basketball player, I also have a strong interest in supporting athletes who experience performance anxiety, identity challenges, and difficulties transitioning out of competitive sports. My goal as a counselor is to create meaningful therapeutic relationships built on trust, empathy, collaboration, and mutual respect. I am dedicated to helping clients develop practical coping strategies, strengthen their self awareness, and create lasting, positive changes in their lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first session I will complete an intake assessment to gather as much information to better assess and get to know you, your history, and what concerns have brought you to therapy and therefore set up goals. The following sessions, we will engage in talk therapy while pulling from various modalities to help you achieve your goals. Our sessions are 45 min in length on a weekly basis. Please allow 15 minutes before the session to do the intake paperwork. I PROVIDE PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES ONLY; PLEASE NOTE I DON’T PROVIDE MEDICATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES.
