Andrea obtained her Dual Master’s degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling at the University of Northern Colorado in 2021. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). ABOUT ME: My therapeutic approach is to be empathetic, energetic, empowering, eclectic, and able to hold space for others through the complexities of life. Something to know about my approach is I'm passionate about utilizing integrated techniques that best suit my clients, as we are all unique. I utilize a person-centered approach and other modalities, including Trauma-informed, Psychodynamic, Attachment, Strength-based, CBT, DBT, and MI. Together, we will work in a therapeutic alliance to explore and process your past traumas, life stressors, & triggers. Throughout the healing process, you will be supported in grieving your past & pain you endured for the expansion to create a life worth living. I specialize in working with adults who have challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, negative body image, parenting issues, emotional regulation, substance abuse, lgrief/loss, and life transitions. I became a therapist because I want to help people through their life challenges, ease emotional burdens, and empower them to create a life worth living.
