“Andrew was so easy to talk to, it felt like talking to an old friend. I’ve had therapists who talk the whole time or I leave feeling misunderstood and Andrew was the complete opposite. I felt seen, heard and very encouraged. ”

Getting to know Andrew Gordon

Therapy with me is a space to slow down, feel supported, and get unstuck from the patterns and dynamics that may be holding you back. Sessions are meant to feel human and relational, somewhere you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or rush toward solutions before you’re ready. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist trained to work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. My approach is relational, experiential, and systems-focused, meaning I see you as a whole person shaped by your inner world, your relationships, and the larger systems you move through. I integrate AEDP and Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with elements of play and improvisation, drawing on my extensive acting training and performance background to bring a deep attunement to emotional nuance, embodiment, and relational dynamics into the therapy room. In session, we’ll slow things down, get curious about emotions and body responses, notice patterns, and practice responding with more clarity and compassion. I bring my full, curious, and playful self into the room and aim to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental, where you’re seen not as a problem to fix, but as a person doing their best within complex systems.
