Anisha Jenkins, LCSW, has over 20 years of study and practice of social work and social services in the tristate area. Her career spans from serving as a family therapist for a foster care system in New Jersey, supporting juvenile offenders for the City of New York, working for the United States Court System assisting federal offenders and their families to rebuild their lives after reentering society as well as nourishing a thriving private practice, for the last six years. During this time, with God's endless guidance and support from her family, she developed a Christian based philosophy towards providing therapy services in which she helps her clients, some in individual counseling, which includes clientele of all ages in varying phases of their lives including teenagers and young adults with challenges that can range from anxiety, depression, finding self-worth, overcoming critical life-changes or other areas that may keep them from living their best life. She also counsels pre-marital couples and helps partners of various stages of marriage address marital complications such as communication barriers, restoring intimacy through fostering and strengthening spousal connections as well as offering tools for surviving infidelity. Anisha believes that integrating biblical principles with her vast training as a clinician has offered the best results for her clients. Anisha is known for hosting women's retreats and couple's bootcamps that are credited for reconnecting and/or reigniting the individual and/or the couple to God's purpose and plan for the attendee(s) helping to lead them to live a fulfilled life.
