Getting to know Anna Borrelli

Life can be overwhelming. Whether it is a new self-discovery, a switch in your day-to-day functioning, or a transition that is completely out of your control, handling these experiences can be daunting. In therapy, I use an approach that is individualized to your needs, values, and culture to help you recognize your strengths and overcome the challenges that you feel you need to address. My commitment to you is to provide an environment that is motivational and supportive to ensure you feel comfortable and understood. I am a licensed social worker and have obtained my Master’s degree in social work through Virginia Commonwealth University. Throughout my career thus far, I have been a healthy relationship group facilitator, an anger management group facilitator, a school counselor, and an intensive in-home counselor as well as an outpatient therapist. Within the outpatient therapy sector, I enjoy working with clients of all ages, including children and teens as well as family systems and couples. Throughout my various roles, I have acquired a multitude of skills and strategies for change which I look forward to sharing with you in our time together.
