Getting to know Annemie Van Linden

Hello, I'm Anne. I provide services for PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, cultural issues, addiction, and other challenges. Before starting therapy, I typically schedule a phone consultation with new clients. Therapist-client fit is one of the most important factors in clients' therapeutic success, and I want you to meet your goals. I provide in-person therapy on Mondays as well as Telehealth services on Mondays through Fridays. Please note, if you are trying to direct schedule, many of my sessions do not start on the hour or half hour so please reach out if you cannot find a time. I am a more direct therapist than most. I don't wear a formal 'therapist mask,' and formal language is not part of my vocabulary. I believe in being down-to-earth and speaking from the heart. I believe that it is up to me to provide you with a supportive and safe space to share your experiences, thoughts, feelings, and goals. I use a person-centered approach, which means I tailor your treatment by pulling from a variety of treatment modalities to fit your individual needs. I am a firm believer that therapy can make a difference in people's lives. I bring that belief into session as well as open-mindedness, acceptance, and compassion. At the end of some sessions, you will gain skills to practice, leave with a reading assignment related to your issue or a writing prompt. At other times, you will leave with new insights.
