She earned her Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. Before this, she completed her undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College, where she earned her Bachelor's in Psychology and Children & Youth Studies. During her time at LIU, Antonella worked with various clients, including those with schizophrenia and individuals in recovery from substance use. She also specializes in perinatal mood disorders, anxiety, and depressive issues. Antonella was drawn to the mental health field because she recognized the stigma surrounding mental health and saw the need for more progressive counselors. She believes that mental health is just as important as physical health, and when you invest time in taking care of your mental health, you are investing in your overall health and well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am a warm and compassionate therapist, and collaboratively work with my clients to meet them where they are and develop a list of small and concrete goals to work on. It is my passion to make sure my clients feel better leaving than when they came in, each and every time. I specialize in anxiety, depression/perinatal depression, trauma, and substance abuse disorders. I also work with adolescents and adults--I look forward to working with you!

Had appointment for 10am on 11/11, no one reached out to me and I called the office 3 times no answer and still have not heard from anyone. Very unprofessional I rescheduled work to make this appointment
