Ari Javidi, LMSW

Psychotherapist
NY
There are times in life when the work of being a person in the world can feel utterly unmanageable, if not downright impossible. Therapy should be a place of respite and recovery from these challenges-it is here that we can slow down, process, laugh, cry, heal, and grow. Everyone deserves a therapeutic space where they can be seen in the way they want to be seen and heard in the way they want to be heard. In my work, I seek to create a collaborative space based on values of affirmation, trust, and compassion, in which we can explore and address the adversity that prevents you from leading the life you want to lead. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you on this journey.

Finding a therapist - and dealing with mental health challenges in general - can feel extraordinarily difficult at times, but know that you are deserving of support and care. Take care, and thank you again for being here.
