What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and supportive space when working with me. My approach is somewhat direct yet compassionate—I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you gain insight while gently challenging patterns that may no longer serve you. I value building a trusting relationship where you feel safe bringing your authentic self to therapy. I tend to be structured and goal-oriented, and I like to integrate practical tools and coping strategies that you can apply outside of session to support real change. I tailor therapy to your unique needs, whether you’re looking to reduce anxiety, improve communication, navigate life transitions, or work on personal growth. Therapy with me is an active process—we’ll explore what’s important to you, identify obstacles, and move at a pace that feels right for you. Above all, my goal is to create a space where you feel supported, heard, and empowered to move forward in your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, I’ll spend time getting to know you, your background, and your goals for therapy so we can tailor our work to what matters most to you. I take a collaborative approach, and together we’ll identify patterns, explore emotions, and build strategies to help you cope and thrive. A typical session often includes space to reflect on what’s coming up for you, explore challenges, and practice skills that you can apply in daily life. I tend to bring structure to our time together while remaining flexible—ensuring we’re focusing on what’s most helpful to you in the moment. Throughout our work, I may introduce tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based practices to support your progress. I also like to offer homework or reflection prompts if that feels supportive, so you can continue the work between sessions. My goal is for therapy to feel like a meaningful, supportive, and active process where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.
