UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. My treatments focus on building a therapeutic alliance between counselor and individual. I support individuals as they identify their goals for treatment and take steps toward reaching those goals. Along with using evidence-based practices, I believe the family unit plays a big role in mental health, and it is important to build healthy family relationships. Much of my work has been focused on working with youth and helping them process trauma through the use of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Augusta University and a Bachelor’s degree from Emory & Henry College. I would be honored to work with you and help you navigate the struggles you are currently facing in life. We are living in a time where mental health needs to take priority.
