Hello, I'm Autumn, and I'm thrilled to be a part of your journey towards better mental health. With a Master's degree and over 6 years of experience as a school counselor, plus 1.5 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I've dedicated my career to supporting the well-being of children, tweens, teens, and adults. My passion for helping young people navigate their unique challenges has been a driving force in my work. As a school counselor, I had the privilege of guiding students from kindergarten to 12th grade, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, confidence, self-image, school-related challenges, gifted and talented issues, and relationship and friendship concerns. Transitioning into private practice as an LPC, I continue to empower youth, helping them navigate the complexities of growing up in an ever-changing society. My empathetic and client-centered approach ensures that young individuals feel understood, valued, and safe to open up about their mental health concerns. While I have a special affinity for working with youth, I also support adults through life transitions, adjustments, general support, psychoeducation, and coaching. In addition to my clinical work, I am a dedicated adjunct instructor, sharing my knowledge and experience with future mental health providers and school counselors. One of my greatest strengths is building relationships with clients and collaborating on goal setting and developing healthy coping mechanisms. I understand that each person's journey is unique, so I tailor my therapeutic approach to suit individual needs, promoting resilience and self-empowerment.
