“I have loved my time so far with Ayako. She is compassionate and understanding and makes me feel free to share whatever is on my mind without judgement. She is very good getting to the root of the issue through my stories and challenges me to question negative or unproductive ways of thinking. She gives good prompts for out of session work, but there is never any pressure to have something done by next session, so it is very freeing to do the work on your own and the come back together and discuss our findings. Would highly recommend her for anyone who is just starting out in therapy or looking to jump back in after some time away. ”

She really makes you delve deep within yourself, she really has a zero judgement about her. I feel safe and comfortable with her, than most therapists I've had over the course of ten years.
Ayako is an extremely brilliant and empathetic therapist. In our sessions, I can tell that she is listening intently to everything I say, and asks questions to further both of our understandings. She is also very flexible with how we conduct sessions, which I greatly appreciate, as I’ve had therapists who seem to be on their own mission. If you’re considering Ayako at all, book a session with her! You won’t regret it.
