Life can sometimes leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, uncertain of our direction, or overwhelmed by experiences that are difficult to make sense of alone. Whether you are facing a challenging transition, struggling with symptoms of anxiety or depression, working through the impact of trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy can offer an opportunity to better understand yourself and create meaningful change. I believe that each individual is the expert on their own life. My role is not to tell you who you are or what you should do, but to help you connect with the strengths and resources you already possess while collaborating to build new ones. Drawing from psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approaches, I help clients explore how past experiences and current patterns may be shaping their lives today. Through this process, we can develop greater insight, cultivate self-compassion, and work toward lasting growth. My goal is to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where you can express yourself freely, explore your emotional experience with curiosity, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, fulfilling, and joyful. I look forward to connecting with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I view therapy as a collaborative process grounded in curiosity, trust, and genuine human connection. I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable bringing forward the parts of yourself that may feel difficult to share elsewhere, knowing that they will be met with compassion rather than judgment. One of the unique aspects of therapy is the opportunity to slow down and examine experiences, beliefs, and emotional patterns that often operate outside of our awareness. Together, we will explore these patterns with openness and curiosity, helping bring greater understanding to the challenges you may be facing. As insight develops, many clients find themselves relating to their experiences with increased self-compassion and a stronger sense of agency in their lives. My approach is reflective and thoughtful, while remaining grounded in your individual goals and needs. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood, supported, and empowered to explore themselves more deeply, and I am honored to be part of that process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together begins with taking the time to understand who you are, what has brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from the experience. Rather than rushing toward solutions, I believe it is important to create space for a thoughtful exploration of your story, your relationships, and the experiences that have shaped you. As our work progresses, we will develop a deeper understanding of the emotional patterns, beliefs, and ways of relating that may be contributing to your current struggles. Drawing from psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approaches, I help clients connect insight with meaningful action so that therapy feels both reflective and practical. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and our work will evolve alongside your needs and goals. Throughout our time together, I aim to provide a supportive space where you can deepen your understanding of yourself, strengthen your existing resources, and move toward lasting and meaningful change.
