Getting to know Benita Rabinovich

Hello, I'm Benita. Each person is unique and complex, as is their life's journey. We each have individual strengths, experiences, supports, values, and practices that help propel us along the way, as well as things we've been through and are going through that pose challenges. We all need and deserve support. For me, it is an honor and privilege to hear your story and get to know you. Collaborating together to work through the tough times, exploring new insights, and celebrating each step of the journey is essential. I believe a counselor's role is both as coach and cheerleader, helping you create meaningful action steps, change habits, build confidence, enhance focus and mood, improve relationships and life satisfaction, and optimize self-care and self-exploration. I have over 20 years of experience in counseling and coaching. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Addiction Technician (CAT). I received my Master's Degree from the University of Colorado, Denver in 2006. I have experience working in residential and outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment, private practice, post-critical incident stress management/debriefing, and with EAP members. I work primarily with adults but enjoy working with adolescents as well. I enjoy working with clients of all diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals. I specialize in depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, grief, critical incident recovery, spiritual and performance coaching, and offering support for life's changes and adjustments. I believe counseling approaches are unique to each individual. We will cater approaches, exercises, and goals directly to your needs and preferences. Let's find what works and feels best for you. I believe in fostering holistic growth through engaging mind, body, heart, and spirit, while also addressing issues practically through cognitive, behavioral, action-based solutions.
