Getting to know Bernadette Barton

I provide grief therapy to adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating life-altering loss and grief after death. I have specialized experience working with those impacted by suicide, overdose, sudden and traumatic death, pregnancy, infant and child loss, and others forms of complex bereavement. We never move on, but together, we can move forward. There can be life after loss. I have years of experience providing trauma therapy to individuals of all ages processing death and traumatic loss. I support clients in honoring the past while finding ways to integrate the loss into their lives. Together, we explore how loss has shaped you and work toward healing and a meaningful future. Finding the right therapist can be hard, especially when sharing your experience of loss with someone new. Grief touches the core of who we are, and it’s important to have a safe space to show up fully and authentically.
