I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor. I am a patient, respectful, and supportive therapist that will move forward at your pace. I focus on helping my clients overcome negativity and become more aware of their strengths. With couples, I focus on helping improve communication, identifying compromises, and stopping negative interaction patterns.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use a cognitive-behavioral strength-based approach. I take the time to learn about and understand my clients so I can offer effective suggestions. I will not dictate the pace of the sessions or the topics discussed in the session. I do not take an expert position when working with clients. I collaborate with my clients to determine the plan of action that works best for them.

If you do not have insurance, I also take cash pay clients. The UpLift team will work directly with you to inform you of payments due. The prices for visits are dependent on your co-pay amount through your insurance. If you are a cash-pay client, our price ranges from $75 to $145 per visit
