What should a new client know about working with you?

I am licensed in the states of New Jersey and New York and have been providing psychotherapy services for 25+ years. I am also a certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider and certified Integrative Mental Health Professional. I draw from different theoretical frameworks including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Psychodynamic Therapy, Humanistic Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Narrative Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. This allows me to help clients with a variety of issues including: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Low Self-Esteem, Stress, Burnout, ADHD, Grief, Women’s Issues, Relationship Difficulties, General Life Transition Challenges and Career Challenges. Throughout my career, I have held a variety of positions including: Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Instructor, Trainer and Director. I have worked with adults, children, families and couples and have worked in a variety of settings including: telehealth, mental health centers, medical centers, community centers, non-profits, private practice, university setting and in home services.

I use a compassionate, strengths-based and integrative approach and respect a client’s self-determination. I conduct therapy in a collaborative fashion and I tailor it to a client’s individual needs. My primary focus and intention are to provide a safe space, listen attentively, guide, motivate and inspire clients to set their own goals, identify their strengths and inner and outer resources to realize their desires.

I see patients through UpLift. When you create your profile, you will input your insurance information and the team will reach out with your copay amount. If you do not have insurance, I also take cash pay clients. The UpLift team will work directly with you to inform you of payments due. The prices for visits are dependent on your co-pay amount through your insurance. If you are a cash-pay client, our price ranges from $75 to $145 per visit
