Hello, I'm Beth. I believe that understanding the connection between thoughts and emotions is key to personal transformation. Life can present difficult challenges, but through mindful exploration, we can uncover the patterns in our thinking that influence how we feel. By focusing on this relationship, I can help guide you to develop deeper self-awareness and healthier coping strategies. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or life transitions, I will support your journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth. Together, we can navigate the challenges and help you thrive. In 2010, I graduated from Adams State University with a Master's Degree in Community Counseling. Now, as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am dedicated to helping people navigate their challenges and thrive. I focus on developing new habits and creating new ways of thinking that lead to lasting change and personal growth. I love helping people feel comfortable stepping out of their comfort zones to accomplish their goals. I strive to help others understand the importance of mental health and self-care in order to tackle the rest of life's obligations. With a broad range of experience in a variety of diverse settings, I've worked with men, women, youth, adults, and elders from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. My experience spans from the medical field as a social worker, a crisis counselor in the emergency room, long-term care, end-of-life care, and with at-risk youth and incarcerated individuals. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to each client's unique needs. My methods include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, person-centered, and reality therapy.
