I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a licensed Clinical Supervisor in the state of Washington. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Master’s degree from the University of York. I have previously worked in community mental health settings and educational institutes, with experience spanning two countries—India and the USA. I now run a private practice in Seattle, providing individual, couples, and family therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic style can be best described as empathic, honest, insightful, and supportive. I aim to provide you with a safe, non judgmental, and respectful space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges. I believe that the ability to introspect, understand, grow and heal lies within us and that it is deeply satisfying to build awareness and integration around our inner selves. I work from a holistic and integrative perspective.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe that individual journeys are unique and to honor your unique journey I allow for flexibility in timeline, duration, frequency and structure of sessions, and clinical treatment approach. Together, we will set a treatment plan, which we will regularly review to ensure you are getting what you need from our work together. Our sessions will be free-flowing conversations around the topics most relevant to you.
