My journey began in high-stakes environments such as detoxification units, emergency rooms, and hospitals, where I spent the first two decades of my career. These experiences have shaped my approach to therapy, allowing me to handle a wide range of mental health issues with confidence and compassion. I've also worked in community mental health, where I gained valuable experience in crisis assessment, case management, and behavioral health administration. I hold a PhD in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and a Master's degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary. As an evangelical Christian and ordained minister, I have the unique ability to integrate pastoral and soul care into my practice, using a Biblical worldview to guide my therapeutic approach.
