I am a licensed mental health counselor in New York with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from New York University. I specialize in a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I have experience and training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and work from a trauma-informed and relational perspective.
I often find that we aren't validated for what we feel and experience, which can make us feel disconnected in our relationships and from ourselves. It can be difficult to discover what we need and the directions we need to go in when we're not feeling connected to ourselves. My goal is to work alongside you as we navigate your story to seek understanding and solutions. We will also explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence each other.
Our meetings will likely be weekly, and I will provide tools for you to use outside of sessions, which might require daily practice. To start, we will explore your background and create a plan for our time together. The plan is something we will review and revise regularly. Overall, I want to make sure you're getting the most out of our sessions.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of- network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
