Brittany Garza, LPC

Psychotherapist
CO
My goal is to empower BIPOC or LGBTQIA+ individuals throughout different stages of life with unconditional acceptance, openness, and strengths-based methods to help you uncover the root causes of your issues. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or trauma, I'm here to support you. I specialize in working with marginalized, intersectional identities to become their most powerful, ideal version of self at home, in relationships, and the workplace. As a queer Latinx therapist, I bring cultural understanding around topics like machismo, emotional suppression, shame, colorism, and fetishization. I deeply understand what it’s like to navigate the process of being BIPOC, multicultural, and queer with a family that is very catholic in a patriarchal world. I utilize humor and metaphor while challenging your negativity and assisting you in returning to your inner authenticity and power. I will help you restore balance and connection in your life both internally and externally. Our work together will be a collaborative journey, where you can expect a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. I am committed to helping you find clarity and build resilience, drawing on your strengths and inner resources. When I'm not with clients, I love to recharge by hiking, making art, reading, and spending time with my spouse and two pets. Originally from Texas, I've been enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Colorado for the past six years. If you're ready to take the next step towards healing and growth, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create the life you envision.
