Psychotherapist

Hello, I'm Burch. I support you with compassion and curiosity as you begin to listen deeply to what’s happening inside. Turning within, we find the different parts of you yearning to be heard. When we run into difficulties or traumatic experiences, these parts help us adapt to our environments. I am Level 2-trained in Internal Family Systems and certified in Somatic IFS; these modalities used in conjunction, allow us to free those parts from their extreme roles. What comes to the forefront naturally is our inherently wise and caring self, along with the ability to live life from an empowered, intentional place, rather than a reactive one. This is achieved by helping clients identify and understand the different parts of themselves, such as the wounded child, the inner critic, and the protective parts. Through this process, clients heal and integrate these parts, leading to a more balanced and fulfilled life. I also incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion practices into my counseling sessions to help clients develop a greater sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance. By cultivating a compassionate and non-judgmental relationship with themselves, clients can begin to let go of negative internalized beliefs that may be holding them back. Overall, my goal as a counselor is to create a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their inner world, gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors, and connect to their own Inner Knowing. I am a proud mom of two sweet fellas. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, being in nature, and spending time with family and friends. I deeply believe that everyone deserves love, respect, and a sense of self that shines with laughter and gratitude. I would be honored to be a part of your journey toward a healthy and happy life! I look forward to meeting with you!
