Getting to know Caitlyn Pearson

*Insurance is not accepted, so therapy sessions are self-pay; please expect to pay out of pocket as we are an out-of-network practice.* I prioritize safe, efficient, and dig-in-deep therapy. I specialize in working with couples and individuals who are looking to feel confident and satisfied in their relationships-romantic, platonic, and most importantly, with oneself. I use the proven, clinically effective therapy models of EFT and DBT to give you the best shot at success. I hold a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Drexel University, which informs my approach and commitment to helping you achieve meaningful growth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

*Insurance is not accepted so therapy sessions are self-pay; please expect to pay out of pocket as we are an out of network practice.* You're trying your hardest to feel connected to your loved one(s) but instead you end up feeling the opposite. You're tired of overthinking and missing the mark. You might be experiencing the "what ifs" as I call them: "What if my partner is unable to meet my needs? Maybe they don't care to...What if breaking up is the best thing? Do they even love me?" I want you to wake up excited to spend the day with your partner...and actually enjoy the day together! Without any casual conversations turned fights, without avoiding intimacy, without constantly triggering one another. Healthy communication not only exists, it's within your reach.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

If your experience matches, I think we might be a good fit! Here is what to do: 1. Schedule an initial session. 2. On our call, I will share about what to expect in therapy, review your goals, and collaboratively, we will develop our plan for how to help you get there. 3. You're one step closer to creating the relationship you've been looking for.

Overall, we enjoyed Caitlyn's bedside manner during the consult. She asked a good questions and explained her approach. One complaint is that she never reached back out after the consult when we expressed interest in booking a session. She said she would send her email, which didn't happen. When we finally got her email and reached out directly, no response. Very odd and not what we were expecting nor seeking in a therapist. But again, cannot speak to her skills and impact because this was just a consult conversation.

100% recommend Caitlyn to anyone. Hands-down the best therapist ever. Having shopped around and seen other therapists before, that left me unsure if therapy was that helpful for me, I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Caitlyn. By our first appointment, she was already making extremely insightful observations and giving me real, practical advice for a pressing relationship situation I was in. I could tell she really understood what I was going through. It's the unique combination of her empathy/intuition, and her practical strategies/recommendations for dealing with situations and changing thought patterns, that make her therapy such a value to me. I always look forward to our appointments and the nuggets of wisdom she shares! Caitlyn is the best!

Caitlyn is so professional and a fantastic listener. Beyond just listening, she really challenges you to grow at your pace and leaves you with great advice!
Caitlyn is a brilliant therapist that balances her sharp intellect with warm compassionate interest in my life, relationship and correlating goals.
Caitlyn has been extremely helpful in my progress toward a healthier and happier lifestyle. She is kind and responsive, especially to the variety of situations we discussed as she helped me in a journey from CBT to DBT. She taught me how to be able to trust myself in situations I would have easily walked away from previously. Within 6 months of treatment I started to fondly enjoy the new situations I sought out. Not only am I facing my fears, but they end up most times met with the kindest moments. The more I look to my notes, I realize how much I am living out the lessons we went over and over. There's not enough space here to say how grateful I am.
I enjoyed working with Caitlyn. She helped me work through my mental health difficulties including my emotions, relationships with others, and relationship with myself.
Caitlyn is an excellent therapist. She has such calming energy that makes me feel at ease before we even dive into the session. I deal with insecurity and anxiety in relationships, something that Caitlyn and I spend a lot of time discussing. She provides so much helpful insight and never undermines my emotions or concerns. I never knew the sessions with Caitlyn could help me as much as they have! I highly recommend her!
It was awesome and very good to meet with Caitlyn. She was thorough, she listened. I told her what I needed and she helped me with it. Ive had a bad experience with a therapist in the past and I wanted to make sure that that didn't happen again. Caitlyn brings the best out of me. She always asks how im doing, we talk about different skills. I was distraught before and meeting with her. She listens, we actually work on things. She has a very gentle and sweet way about her but is also straightforward and she gets to the point. Ive just been looking for a therapist who understands what I'm going through, and Caitlyn takes the time to really watch and see what that is. She really listens and has helped me through some difficult times. She was able to see my pain and that was really important to me. She's simply a really, really good therapist.
