Hello, I'm C.C. Penny. When you are in the depths of change, conflict, or upheaval, it is easy to lose hope. Things may seem hopeless, an endless rabbit hole. It is my job to see that light at the very top of that bottom. Notice it for you, remind you that it's there. Hold on to it, knowing that although you may not see it, someone you trust knows it's there. I'll hold on to it for you, until you are ready to look at it, feel it, embrace it. I'll hold that hope when the thought of it feels too heavy. I'll carry it for you when it seems like too much. And when you're ready, I'll hand it over. As your therapist, I will take a person-centered approach to therapy utilizing both traditional and non-traditional modalities, specifically EFT. I believe that each person or unit holds their own keys to success; therapy is just another way of finding them. I also believe that the pre/postpartum journey is often overlooked. Whether it's in an individual space or one that includes your partner, I will assist in preparation for the new shift in your life. Additionally, I have opened my practice to families with teens, couples therapy, and grief work. I feel that as a therapist it is important to find a niche that speaks to you. I feel comfortable working in those spaces because of either specialized training, work, and personal experience. To the couples, families, or individuals searching: whatever it is you are yearning for help with has merit. There is no 'problem' that is 'silly' or 'irrelevant.'
