Hello, I'm Carly. These are very difficult times that we are currently in, and the impact on mental health can be great. With life often feeling chaotic or lonely and the future seeming unsure, it is only natural to start feeling anxious or sad. Taking the step to reach out for help to address and work through such feelings, or any feelings you might currently be experiencing, is already a sign of great resilience. I am a counselor who believes deeply in the human capacity for such resilience and its ability to create growth and change. I view my role as one of walking alongside my clients to help draw out and direct all of the strength and resourcefulness that they already have within. I know that people are the experts of their own lives, and I seek to discover and understand that expertise in order to build a trusting, therapeutic relationship and to learn how to best work with each individual. Because each person is unique, I aim to fit my techniques and tools to the client, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, where I graduated in 2012, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Colorado. I have experience in both clinical and social services realms, working with clients from vastly different backgrounds, who experience pain or struggle in a wide range of areas. Some of the areas I have focused on most with clients include stress and anxiety, relational and family conflict, addiction, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, LGBTQ+ related issues, self-esteem, anger management, spirituality, and trauma. If you are ready to take the next step towards healing and growth, I am here to support you. Let's work together to navigate these challenging times and find the resilience within you.
