At the Life Enrichment Counseling Center, Ms.Thomas specializes in working with adult individuals experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship issues and couples experiencing conflict or wanting to strengthen their relationships. She is trained in several evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as trauma-informed approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), hypnosis, and mindfulness modalities. When working with couples, Ms. Thomas draws on her Gottman Principles I, II, Treating Affairs and Trauma, and Seven Principles training and aspects of Imago Therapy, to help them strengthen their relationships in three primary areas: friendship, conflict management, and creation of shared meaning.
