Hello, I'm Carolyn, and I've been a practicing social worker since 1985. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in various areas, including supporting active duty military members and their families, serving in VA hospitals, and contributing to community mental health. My journey has led me to specialize in treating trauma of all kinds, depression, anxiety, and women's issues. I find immense joy in supporting individuals who are seeking positive life changes. I particularly enjoy working with those who are ready to make a real change in their lives. You might feel 'tired of the rut you are in' or have a sense that 'something needs to change...I do not want to feel like this anymore.' Whether you're dealing with 'old issues' or current stresses like anxiety, relationships, or uncertainty about the future, I believe that when you're ready to make a change, having a supportive push can make a significant difference. I am a firm believer that real change is very possible. For me, therapy is a support system offering a course of treatment.
