Psychologist
CA
Hi there, I'm Carrie! I’m a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience, and what keeps me passionate about this work is helping people through some of life’s toughest moments. I believe therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Whether you're navigating stress, identity concerns, relationship issues, or healing from trauma, I bring a compassionate and culturally informed approach to our work together. My goal is to walk alongside you with care, insight, and respect for your unique journey. My approach Building a trusting relationship is at the heart of our work together. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and truly belong. I understand that trust takes time, and I’m here to move at your pace. I consider people holistically—mind, body, spirit, relationships, and cultural values—so that we can honor your full experience. Together, we’ll explore the life experiences and challenges that bring you to therapy, ensuring that our work aligns with your values and feels personally meaningful. My focus I have specialized experience supporting BIPOC communities and helping clients navigate the stressors of racism, sexism, ableism, and the lasting impact of intergenerational trauma. I also work closely with women as they move through significant life transitions. I work with adults across the lifespan—from young adults to older adults—who are facing a range of challenges. Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or burned out—often due to the pressures of shifting life roles, complex family dynamics, career demands, or relationship struggles. You may also be coping with anxiety, depression, or simply feeling stuck, and together, we’ll work toward relief, clarity, and meaningful change.
