Psychotherapist
1262 Bergen Pkwy, Ste E-18, Evergreen, CO
Hello, I'm Carrie. For over a decade, I've had the privilege of working with teens and adults navigating life transitions and grappling with anxiety, depression, and executive functioning challenges. My passion lies in supporting neurodivergent individuals and those struggling with codependency, helping them find their path to a more fulfilling life. As a Trauma Specialist, I bring a unique blend of therapeutic approaches to our sessions. I am trained in using a Somatic and Attachment Focused (SAFE) lens to guide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Additionally, I integrate Poly Vagal theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) work. These methods are designed to help settle your nervous system, foster secure relationships, and empower you to create the life you envision. I firmly believe that you are the expert on yourself. My role is to meet you where you are and support you in deciding the work needed to become your future self. In our sessions, we'll identify and accept the different parts of yourself, re-process memories and thought patterns that no longer serve you, and develop more functional thoughts and beliefs. Together, we'll take steps towards living as the person you aspire to be. I am committed to helping you change what feels uncomfortable, integrate all parts of yourself, and embody the person you want to become. It is an honor to be a guide on your healing journey, and I am excited to work with you. If you're ready to start this journey towards healing and self-discovery, I'm here to help. Let's take the first step together.
