Getting to know Cathy Jacobsen

Welcome. I am a psychotherapist working with teens, adults, and couples. I’m licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. With over 30 years of experience, I’ve helped clients with a broad range of issues including trauma, anxiety (OCD, panic), depression, and relationships. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. As a Certified Grief and Loss Educator, helping clients with the loss of a loved one is an area of special interest and expertise. I enjoy helping clients navigate the inevitable losses that come our way—conflicts with friends, divorce, pregnancy-related loss, job termination, loss of a home, and hard life transitions such as retirement. Most of my sessions are virtual.
