Hello, I'm Cecilia. I truly believe that people have the inherent ability to emotionally heal and recover. With 28 years of experience in the field, I've had the privilege of helping others heal, grow, and transform their lives in meaningful and fulfilling ways. My approach focuses on the wholeness and resilience of the individual through the self, mind, body, and spirit, as well as the power of healthy relationships. Whether you're dealing with past trauma, relationship issues, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, or anything else that's hindering your inner peace, I believe it's workable. Together, we can make positive and meaningful changes in your life through personal empowerment and growth. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples, focusing on individual processes, trauma-informed care, attachment, and relationships. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Client-Centered, Strength-Based, EFT, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Family Systems approaches. Additionally, I specialize in grief and bereavement. Raised between Spain and the US, I consider myself a strong liaison for bridging different cultures, especially within the Latinx community. My diverse ethnicity and multicultural values have enriched my capacity and openness to work with many diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I graduated from Florida International University with an undergraduate degree in Psychology (1993) and a Master's degree in Counseling Education (1997). I've practiced as a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Florida and now Colorado. I also spent about 10 years working as a therapist in Spain, mainly with families and women suffering from domestic violence.
