What should a new client know about working with you?

I integrate various evidence-based modalities to tailor a treatment plan that will address your individual needs. I have extensive training in CBT, TF-CBT and DBT. I value honesty, humor and real-life examples to make therapy relatable and engaging. I believe in meaningful, practical growth and will challenge you in a compassionate manner. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe being real, knowing that therapy is a collaborative relationship, not just a process. Therapy is hard work, but worth it!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Every session is tailored to you—some days, it’s deep processing, and other days, it’s skill-building and action planning. A typical session will be a mix of a brief check in to see if there are any significant issues from the week before we should discuss, practicing skills to address treatment goal, exploring patterns in your thoughts and behaviors and finalizing by deciding what practice will be done for the following week.
