Getting to know Celina Bravo

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I approach my work with individuals, couples, and families from a holistic perspective, taking into account both their past and present experiences. I adjust the therapeutic process to each client's particular experience, needs, and therapy goals by adopting an individualistic approach.
I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University, a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Work from Centennial College. I have experience working with children ages 5 to 21 for over 10 years. Over the past five years, I have worked in private practice with individuals and couples, as well as in the non-profit sector working with youth.
What should a new client know about working with you?

In order for my clients to feel empowered by the improvements we have made together, I collaborate with them. I'll establish a secure space where you feel appreciated, understood, and unjudged.
What is your typical process for working with clients?

On our call, I will share about what to expect in therapy, review your goals, and collaboratively, we will develop our plan for how to help you get there. 3. Mrs.Bravo is a clinician I had supervised for over 7 years. She has strong clinical skills and meets all of her patients with kindness. Mrs.Bravo is someone who is very easy to talk to and our patients found it comforting to see how invested she is in her work. Mrs.Bravo is also an incredible advocate for her patients and puts the needs of her patients in the forefront of her work. In the Mental Health environment we value this.
