What should a new client know about working with you?

You’ve taken a courageous step towards understanding your challenges, seeking peace in the face of uncertainty, and reclaiming your sovereignty. Whether you’re navigating grief, trauma, addiction, existential dread, or a quiet ache you can't quite name, I understand the strain felt when parts of you seem so fragmented and disconnected. The good news is: you are not broken, and all parts of you are welcome here. You don’t have to stay stuck in old narratives that no longer serve you. I believe in your capacity to rewrite your story in a way that aligns with your values, fosters connection, reclaims your voice, and restores a sense of wholeness. My approach is collaborative and integrative, holistically incorporating mind, body, spirit, and all things relational. I blend CBT, Existential, IFS, and Narrative Therapies, with Somatic processing and Buddhist philosophy in a way that is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and thoughtful inquiry. I also specialize in vocal activation and Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy. You don’t have to hold it all alone. Whether you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or just longing for a place to exhale and be fully seen, therapy can be a path back toward yourself. If this resonates, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can weave the patterned tapestry of your life- the threads of hurt, the threads of hope- and find your Harmonic Thread home.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

**Please note that as a new patient, you will only be able to book for a free, 25-min virtual consultation. If it feels like a good fit, we'll be able to book full sessions in-person or virtually thereafter.** First sessions typically involves a psychological intake and exploration of current challenges. The early weeks are about creating a solid, safe container, building the therapeutic relationship, and setting goals, before then diving deeper, building coping skills, and addressing root issues. Therapy is rarely linear — some sessions may feel emotional and deeply internal, others more structured and practical. Depending on your needs, we might: - Process and release unresolved emotions or trauma - Identify and shift limiting beliefs or patterns - Re-author your story through narrative therapy - Work with parts of self (IFS or R-CS) and relational dynamics - Integrate creative or somatic practices like vocal activation, breathwork, or dream analysis. When working with children, I focus on play therapy, building healthy coping skills, and strengthening adaptive relational dynamics. As we work together, you may notice: - Feeling more connected to yourself and your values - More resilience in relationships and life challenges - A deeper mind-body-soul alignment - Confidence in your ability to find regulate when life feels overwhelming We’ll periodically reflect on what’s shifting and whether your goals have evolved. Typically clients benefit from weekly 50-55 minute sessions, but this can vary based on need, such as twice a week or every other week. With time, trust, and commitment, most clients see improvements within just a few months, but treatment period is usually undefined, with some clients engaging for as little as 6 months and others for years.
